About the President’s Volunteer Service Award
In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.
The PVSA has continued under each administration, honoring the volunteers who are using their time and talents to solve some of the toughest challenges facing our nation.
WOMEN PRAYING FOR CHRIST, INC.
Women Praying for Christ, Inc. is an Official Certifying Presenter for the President's Volunteer Service Award.
As a Presidential Volunteer Service Awards certifying organization, Women Praying for Christ, Inc. (WPFCM) assists in identifying and nominating U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who are using their time and skills to address some of the nation's most difficult challenges. These honors include Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Lifetime achievement distinctions.
Women Praying for Christ, Inc. is an official President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) Certifying Organization.
Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award
The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is the most prestigious civilian volunteer award in the United States and has been awarded to few Americans to recognize over 4,000 hours of extraordinary service.
Presidential Volunteer Service Award
Bronze, Silver, and Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Awards are given based on the number of hours per category.
